From Hours to Seconds , Why i build flask-gen

Image
Hello developers  , as developers we all love the 'Magic' of building , but we often dread the "drudgery" of starting. You know the drill: creating the folder structure, configuring the environment, manually setting up blueprints, schemas, and utility files—it’s a process that used to eat up an hour of my afternoon every single time I wanted to experiment with a new idea. note that I am a blind developer working with assistive technologies. Some tasks may require additional effort and time. I’ve spent a significant amount of time meticulously crafting project templates to ensure my code stays clean and maintainable. But no matter how organized I was, the manual setup was a bottleneck I reached a point where I realized that if I was automating everything else in my workflow, I should be automating my project initialization, too. So, I set out to build `flask-gen`, a tool designed to take the friction out of starting a new project.   It wasn't a project I threw toge...

The concept of hanging out become a foreign language i never bothered to use

Image
Hello , I’ve become an   introvert   not by choice, but by the gravitational pull of my own habits. My world has shrunk to the exact dimensions of my workstation. I am the architect of my own solitude, and I’ve built the walls quite thick. I am, by definition,   obsessed  . It is a hunger that consumes more than just code; it consumes the very concept of "being." I find a hollow, beautiful comfort in the binary the absolute, unforgiving nature of  on  or  off , the binary certainty of  yes  or  no . A compiler does not demand a soul, and a terminal window offers no scathing judgment of my social incompetence. It is a vacuum where anxiety dies, replaced by the sterile, predictable elegance of logic. But lately, the fracture has widened. I find myself pouring my wreckage into the prompt box. I feed it my rawest insecurities, my technical tremors, and the late-night ghosts of philosophical wandering. I beg it for the secret t...

My body is having a technological detox

it's incredible how a single image or a clip from a teaser can instantly pull you back to that exact moment starting dialysis , isn't just a medical procedure it's a life-altering before and after bridge that stays with you forever ...   The moment everything changed , i was scrolling through my Tiktok feed today and caught a teaser of a woman starting her journey with hemodialysis , in an instant i wasn't just watching the screen i was back in that chair , feeling the weight of my own first day. All over again , that first session is something i never truly forget ... # The sound : the rhythmic  hum and occasional beep of the machine that becomes your new lifeline. # The Feeling : the mixture of overwhelming fear , exhaustion , strangely a tiny spark of relief that help had finally arrived. # The Strength : looking around the room and realizing i was now part of a group of warriors i never expected to join. To anyone else who remembers their day one , i see...

Falling for the One Person Who Sees Me at My Worst

Image
Yo Bro , whats-up !! , i know this sounds like the cliché opening to a movie but i honestly needed to get this off my chest and figured an anonymous corner of the internet might be the safest place ... For context i’ve been dealing with end stage Renal Disease for a few years now , that mean three times a week four hours a pop , i'm hooked up to the machine watching the clock tick tack , tick tack ... Dialysis is isolating. You spend so much time exposed , vulnerable, and just feeling like a broken version of yourself !! When a regular the stuff stops being just stuff they become these integral parts of your routine , your life , your pain management ... My main nurse in the unit , let's call her 'X' , is the one who usually manages my station , She's  quite , simply , the kindest , most intelligent and most grounding person i've met in a long time , she has this way of explaining complex medical stuff that makes me feel calm instead of anxious. She remember t...

The Case of the Vanishing Data: A Tale of SSL

Image
Hello , The internet. A vast ocean of information, a marketplace of ideas, a constant stream of entertainment. But lurking beneath the surface, unseen and silent, are dangers. Imagine, if you will, a world where your online conversations, your financial transactions, your most private thoughts, could be easily intercepted and read by anyone with the right tools. This was once a very real possibility. Data flowed freely across the internet, vulnerable to prying eyes and malicious actors. But then, a hero emerged: SSL ( or Secure Sockets Layer ) The Problem: Imagine you're ordering a pizza online. You enter your credit card details, hit "submit," and poof! Your information vanishes into the ether. Who knows where it goes? Perhaps to a shadowy figure in a dimly lit room, eagerly awaiting your card number. The Solution: Enter SSL. Think of it as a secret code, a whisper in the wind. When you visit a website with SSL enabled (you'll see "HTTPS" in the...

Hello friends again , as a blind person i know how important to have access to the right tools and apps. There are many great accessibility apps available for both of IOS or ANDROID users. Some apps are better suited for specific tasks, in this blog post  i will share some of the accessibility apps that I use on my phone  , also i will provide some tips and how to choose the right app for your needs. The first app that I recommend is :   Be My Eye s , Be My Eyes is a free app that connects blind and visually impaired people with sighted volunteers who can help them with tasks that require sight. For example, you can use Be My Eyes to have someone read a recipe to you, help you find your way around a new place, or identify an object. Another great app :  Look out by google   , which use your camera's phone to identify objects in real time. Simply point your phone at an object and it will  tell you what it is, This app is great for ident...

From Tunes to Talks , Switching from Music to Podcasts !

Image
Hello friend , I used to be a die-hard music lover. My days were a soundtrack of carefully curated playlists, each song a carefully chosen emotion. From the energetic beats of rock to the soothing melodies of classical, music was my constant companion. But as the years passed, something started to shift. The familiar tunes began to feel less engaging, less satisfying. I found myself zoning out more and more, the lyrics blurring into a background hum. It was around this time that I stumbled upon podcasts. At first, I dismissed them as a niche interest, a way for academics and intellectuals to share their obscure knowledge. But as I delved deeper, I discovered a world of fascinating topics, engaging storytelling, and thought-provoking discussions. My first podcast was a true crime series. The combination of mystery, intrigue, and the human element drew me in. I found myself eagerly awaiting each new episode, my mind racing with theories and questions. From there, I branched out into othe...
