it's incredible how a single image or a clip from a teaser can instantly pull you back to that exact moment starting dialysis , isn't just a medical procedure it's a life-altering before and after bridge that stays with you forever ... 

 The moment everything changed , i was scrolling through my Tiktok feed today and caught a teaser of a woman starting her journey with hemodialysis , in an instant i wasn't just watching the screen i was back in that chair , feeling the weight of my own first day.

All over again , that first session is something i never truly forget ...

# The sound : the rhythmic  hum and occasional beep of the machine that becomes your new lifeline.

# The Feeling : the mixture of overwhelming fear , exhaustion , strangely a tiny spark of relief that help had finally arrived.

# The Strength : looking around the room and realizing i was now part of a group of warriors i never expected to join.

To anyone else who remembers their day one , i see you !! it's a road that requires more courage than most people realize we aren't just patients , we are resilient ...
